We can’t begin to thank Almost Home enough for all of the great things they did to make Mom’s end of life so special! The staff is so professional, caring, and compassionate, and went above and beyond the call to make Mom comfortable at all times!
Not only did the staff accommodate Mom, but they helped us through this process and made our stay just as comfortable. We are so grateful for the ability to have access to the sitting area and Retreat 24/7 during this time! This convenience gave us the ability to be with Mom the majority of the time, which meant a lot to us, and Mom!
We thank them for a delicious meal served on the 4th of July! That meant so much to us! Great Bend is so fortunate to have this unique home for the care of their loved ones! God Bless,

Mom has been at Almost Home for 2 years this month. None of us want to leave our home but if we live long enough, often there comes a time when that choice has to be made. Almost Home has been the right choice for us from the care mom receives, to the communication with the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the general attitude and atmosphere we have observed. Thank you, Almost Home.

Almost Home was the answer to our prayers! We learned of their services just as we were ready to place our dad in an assisted living facility. After a tour of Almost Home and meeting Leilani, we knew it was the right choice for dad. Dad has been at Almost Home for more than 2 ½ years, and we continually marvel at the care he is given. It is truly home for him and the staff is like his family.

When we brought my father-in-law, Glen Miller, into Almost Home he was a shell of his former self. He was very sick and had spiraled down quickly. Now - less than a year later he is stronger, walking, smiling and enjoying life again. I credit the caring, friendly and professional staff at Almost Home. They keep us informed regularly of any changes or needs that he might have. They know each resident and their families and spot very quickly any changes that might signal an adverse health or well being issue. We are very glad to recommend them to anyone who might have a parent or grandparent they are seeking compassionate and professional care for.

We want to thank you for taking wonderful care of our mother, Maureen. She was comfortable and content with us leaving her in your hands, which helped us be more at ease. You made all of us feel like family and were so accommodating and willing to work with us. Though we weren't there for very long, it was a critical time for us, and we appreciate the way you made us comfortable with our situation. We didn't meet a staff member who wasn't cheerful and put us at ease. Thank you for your patience and understanding. You are all a blessing to those you serve and we are so happy to have found you. Keep up the wonderful work you do and may God Bless.
